Bewdley Town FC are delighted to announce a sponsorship agreement with Bewdley Rotary Club which will see the both organisations promoting the very serious issue of the damage single use plastic is having on the planet.

Bewdley itself is a beautiful riverside town and suffers from the pollution in the Severn from pop bottles , plastic bags and packaging of various types that do not fit into a sustainable and balanced eco-system.

With this in mind I am pleased to further announce, in collaboration, BTFC and Bewdley Rotary Club will be hosting an Family Fun Day at Ribbesford Meadows to raise awareness of this cause on Sunday 10th October from 10.30 to 3.00pm. We will be inviting residents of Bewdley and beyond to Kick Single Use Plastic Into Touch and what better stage to do this than the local picturesque football ground.

More details to follow shortly – but please mark you calendars with the 10th October if you feel passionate about making change for the good of the planet.

We will have stalls, presentations, ideas, music, food and prizes and Bewdley Town FC First Team Players will be on hand to help with proceedings.

On the image is a QR Code which you can scan to go straight to the campaign page for more details of how , why etc. we can all make a difference!
